Result
114,898 clicks on shared links and 63,560 sign-ups across live masterclass campaigns, with 30 people winning a free course seat so far. The latest masterclass alone had 3,662 participants. Traffic peaked at about 1.6 million API requests a month.
The problem
Free live masterclasses grow by word of mouth, and in the Gulf that means WhatsApp. Any sign-up form longer than one field loses people. The team needed sharing to feel like a game, without opening the door to fake clicks.
What I built
- Invite links that already carry the person's phone number, so sign-up is just a name and one tap.
- A personal share link with a live click counter.
- A public leaderboard that ranks sharers in real time.
- Device fingerprinting and rate limits to stop click farming.
